Can this clock be used in an outdoor full court setting?

It was not designed as a full function shot clock. It could be used in an outdoor full court setting but you might have to have a microphone so you could hear the buzzer if there is a lot of crowd noise. The clock automatically resets after the buzzer sounds to a new 35 (college) or 24 (pro) seconds. You would need someone reset the clock, just like a regular basketball game, after a ball touches the rim. It does not come with a remote reset at this time.

How loud does the buzzer sound?

There is a volume control on the side of the unit so it is quite loud, but again it might not be heard if there is a lot of noise. Beat the Buzzer produces a clear penetrating sound that is estimated to have a 15dB rating. BTB is suitable for the designed purpose of the product which is to be used in your own backyard basketball court. It was not designed for a game situation where crowd noise will apply.

How long does the buzzer sound last?

The buzzer sounds for about 2.5 seconds.

What are the dimensions or size of the shot clock?

It measures 6-1/2" wide x 5-1/2" high x 2" deep
The LDL display measures about 3-3/8" w x 2-1/2" high
Produces a clear penetrating sound that is estimated to have a 15dB rating.

Does the shot clock automatically reset?

The clock automatically resets after the buzzer sounds to a new 35 (college) or 24 (pro) seconds. You would need someone reset the clock, just like a regular basketball game, after a ball touches the rim if you are using this in a game setting. It does not come with a remote reset at this time.

Is this a full functioning Shot Clock? Does it come with the capacity to keep team scores?

No this shot clock was intended to enhance the back yard experience when practicing or playing pick up games with your friends. Experience realistic sound effects as the crowd counts down to the Buzzer just like a real college or pro basketball game. Practice for those championship moments and hit the game winning shot in your own back yard.

Attachment Options.

Comes with a quick connect bracket and Velcro strap for mounting to a pole or is freestanding due to the wide base. When clock is not in use it is suggested that you slide it out of the mounting bracket and put it in a safe place.

Can this be used outdoors?

Yes, it is made of weather resistant high impact ABS for Indoor/ Outdoor use. The clock detaches from the quick disconnect bracket so it can be stored inside when not in use.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting:

1)      If the display pulses bright/dim the battery voltage is beginning to deteriorate meaning batteries should be replaced

2)      Remove batteries if storing long-term

Caution: DO NOT mount your BEAT the BUZZER(tm) Shot Clock in the path of the Basketball; it is not designed to withstand a direct impact. Attach the quick-connect bracket high enough on the pole to avoid a direct impact.
